Meet the Thirwood Team
The staff at Thirwood place is committed to the comfort, safety and well-being of each of our residents. Leading this effort are a dedicated team of local professionals who bring decades of collective experience toward making Thirwood the leading Cape Cod retirement community.
Originally from Norwood, MA, Ed has lived on Cape Cod for 30 years. He enjoys running in road races and has a wonderful wife, three children, three grandsons, and a granddaughter.
Assistant General Manager
Ryan is a Cape Codder who grew up in Yarmouth Port. He lives in Harwich with his wife, their chocolate lab and 10 chickens, and enjoys skiing and wallyball.
Director of Sales & Marketing
Larry grew up all over New England and came to the Cape in 1996 from the Framingham area. Larry enjoys boating, gardening and spending time with his family and their many pets.
Health Care Director
Sara has been a nurse for 20 years and lives in Eastham with her husband and two cats. She enjoys spending time with her two stepchildren, traveling, cooking and reading.
Chef Bright is the creative force behind Thirwood's outstanding cuisine. A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, Eric enjoys hiking, biking, fishing and time with his wife and four children.
Director of Sales
Colleen lives in Plymouth with her husband and has two grown sons and a beloved cat named Matilda. She is a nurse and has worked in the senior living industry for the past ten years. Colleen also enjoys reading and shopping and is an avid Patriots fan.
An avid Boston sports buff, Van is our staff Patriots fanatic. He enjoys cooking, gardening, collecting nautical antiques and spending quality time with family & friends.
Devon lives in Plymouth with her husband. She participates in recreational sports all year round, including softball and dodge ball. Devon also enjoys spending time with her two pups, family and friends.
Erin is a Cape Cod native who has been a part of the Thirwood Team since 2006. When she isn't cooking and crafting, she enjoys spending time with her three children and their adopted miniature schnauzer, Dusty.
Food and Beverage Director
Gina has worked in a number of restaurants and event venues across Massachusetts and holds degrees in food marketing (Saint Joseph’s University) and culinary arts (Johnson and Wales). She is an avid traveler, loves the beach and spending time with her four nephews and labradoodle, Tazzie.
